These labs provide all the essential equipment needed to recreate the workshop modules right in their own classrooms. And that’s not all: our CASE staff are just a Zoom call away, ready to support and enrich your teaching experience with personalized assistance.

Project WET

Jan. 10, 2025, from 9 a.m-3 p.m. at 51³ÉÈË

Dive into the dynamic world of water with Project WET — a hands-on workshop designed to tackle global water issues head-on! This immersive curriculum isn’t just about the basics; it dives deep into contemporary challenges like water-related disasters, water foot printing, and conservation, while also exploring timeless water science topics such as watersheds and the chemistry of water.

Project WET transforms learning into a splashy adventure with engaging, science-based activities tailored for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Not only are these activities incredibly fun, but they’re also perfectly aligned with national standards, including the NAAEE and National Science Education Standards.
In Massachusetts, this exciting initiative is championed by 51³ÉÈË, bringing vibrant water education to students across the state. Ready to make a splash in science? Project WET is where the journey begins!

Workshop participants will receive the curriculum guide along with access to our Project WET environmental activity lending lab kits.  Educators can earn up to 10 professional development hours.

Looking to bring our Interdisciplinary Science Experiences to your classroom? After completing our professional development in one or all of our CityLab and/or Watershed Access Lab module(s) you will gain access to the following kit(s):
